This pilot bit has a 7-1/2" cut diameter. The pilot bit has 2 TX56 (TA029225) and 2 TX58 (TA029400) teeth which are the same teeth that a TXC series auger uses. This cast head digger derrick rock auger pilot bit bolts directly to the boring head with no adapter needed. This will replace the standard fish tail bit and will drill rock much better. This pilot bit is used for fractured and non-fracturable materials, frozen soil, hard pan, cement, and limestone. Retaining bolt and nut included.
