Terex Bullet Tooth Digger Derrick Augers (BTA Series)

The Terex bullet tooth auger (BTA) is designed specifically to optimize the drilling performance of digger derricks in hard fracturable material such as limestone, lava, backfill material as well as cobbles and boulder type drilling conditions. They also drill great in soft dirt as well making it the best all around auger on the market today.

The Terex BTA augers have a unique cutting pattern that allows each tooth to cut a small track which improves cutting efficiency and tooth life. Our cut pattern and tooth attack angle combine to allow the bullet teeth to act as “fingers” that penetrate thru and lift up fractured or broken material

These bullet tooth augers are by far the best selling augers for the utility industry but have many other uses. Available for 2, 2 1/2, and 2 5/8 inch hex kelly bar. Give us a call for other flight thickness and length options.

Features

• Manufactured with 1 inch lower and 1/2 inch upper flighting as standard
• The standard auger stem is 4 inch O.D. 5/16 inch wall DOM heavy duty tubing. Augers 30 inch and larger have 7/16 inch wall stem for added strength.
• The standard options are C10 (65349086TU) auger teeth with a TPB1 (65345795) 2 5/8 inch hex pilot bit which takes 65349085TU teeth.
