THIS IS A STANLEY HYDRAUIC POLE TAMPER WITH A REMOVE ON/OFF VALVE AND AN KIDNEY SHAPED FOOT. THIS TOOL IS TYPICALLY USED BY UTILITY CREWS TO BACKFILL DIRT AROUND THE NOW POWER POLES. FARMERS ALSO USE THIS TAMPER WHEN INSTALLING NEW FENCE POSTS. IT SAVES TIME AND YOUR BODY FROM USING THE OLD HAND TAMP.
NOTE:
If you are using a tractor or a skid steer as your hydraulic source to run the tamper and the unit does not have a circuit to reduce the pressure and flow then you will have to purchase a flow control device before using the tamper on your equipment. We carry a priority divider in stock here.
